Despite being three decades old, Pokémon continues to be just as popular as ever. And it’s not just the games or the cards. The characters have inhabited so many aspects of our lives. From movies and merch to our snack foods. You can even buy Pokémon Goldfish crackers. And that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. Krispy Kreme is the latest to collab with the franchise.
Krispy Kreme just announced that they will be adding a full Pokémon-themed menu to their lineup with six new donuts. And the donuts feature many of the most popular characters.
The new collection includes a Bulbasaur donut, Pikachu donut, Charmander donut, Squirtle donut, Jigglypuff donut, and Poke Ball donut. But the donuts don’t just feature a picture of the character on the donut; they all have different flavors as well.
The Bulbasaur donut is an Original Glazed donut that is dipped in vanilla icing that is the color of the character, topped with green frosting, and a Bulbasaur piece.
The Charmander donut uses an empty donut shell that is then filled with chocolate and toasted marshmallow filling. It’s topped with orange caramel icing and sprinkled with red and gold sugar. It is finally finished with a Charmander piece on top.

On to Squirtle! This donut starts with a glazed donut that is then piped with cotton candy-flavored frosting. It’s then dipped in sprinkles and topped with a surfing Squirtle.
Ready for Pikachu?? The Pikachu donut is filled with lemon filling, dipped in vanilla icing, and topped with nonpareils, an electric yellow drizzle, and a Pikachu piece (of course).
The Jigglypuff donut is all about strawberry. The donut is filled with strawberry-flavored buttercream, topped with a strawberry-flavored cookie, and finished with a small Jigglypuff piece.
Finally, if you want to catch ’em all, you need a Poké Ball. This donut is glazed and then topped with vanilla icing and red sprinkles. It’s then finished off with a chocolate drizzle.
But the donuts aren’t the only thing Krispy Kreme is offering. For the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, you can also get a special-edition Pokémon cup available in five exclusive Pokémon designs. And it is filled with 10 Original Glazed Gold Dots. So when the donuts are gone, you still have something to remember this anniversary.
But when does this menu come out? You can start enjoying everything starting on Tuesday, Aug 18, 2026. And considering how popular these characters are, you will want to get the donuts and the merch while you can.
