There are some new, limited time drinks heading to the Starbucks menu starting on June 16 and with them comes a chance to support access to clean water. As part of the launch of two new blue drinks, Starbucks will be donating $0.25 each with every purchase of these refreshing beverages. But what are the new blue drinks?

According to the press release from Starbucks, customers can pick up either the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha or the Blue Coconut Refresher. Both drinks feature blue spirulina to give the drinks a vibrant pop of blue. And if you’re curious about what exactly comes in each drink here’s the official description from Starbucks:

– The Iced Blue Coconut Matcha: “Tropical and creamy, this iced matcha features sweet mango flavors and is finished with toasted coconut cold foam. A touch of blue spirulina lends a naturally vibrant color that complements the drink’s tropical flavors.”
– The Blue Coconut Refresher: “This crisp beverage combines coconut, strawberry and açaí flavors, hand-shaken with ice and blue spirulina.”

The Refresher also gives you an option to either make your drink with lemonade or you can go with coconut milk (this one is called the Ocean Drink when made with the coconut milk instead). With three options for customization when it comes to the Blue Coconut Refresher, you can definitely enjoy this sweet treat, while also giving back.

And if you’re curious about who gets the $0.25 every time you purchase one of these blue drinks, according to the press release, Starbucks will be donating to water.org. “This donation will be used to help provide lasting access to clean water and sanitation for people around the world, providing up to 195,000 people with access to clean water or sanitation through a maximum donation of $975,000.”

Not only do we get to fall in love with a new beverage that will keep us hydrated and refreshed, but we can help support a good cause. It’s a win all around.

What do you think fellow Starbucks fans? Will these blue drinks be part of your next drink order?
