The summer menu is back at Friendly’s and that means that there are some returning favorites that we are excited to get our hands on once again. Over the years, the menu at Friendly’s has included some iconic dishes and one thing we are never disappointed in is their burgers. So we were thrilled by the news that the Red, White & Bleu Burger was back and just as good as the last time we saw it.

What makes the Red, White & Bleu Burger a winning menu item? Well it’s also the three reasons we are excited to see it make a comeback:

1 – The use of Tillamook white cheddar on this burger. If there is a dairy brand that we are obsessed with, it would have to be Tillamook. And there is no denying that any flavor or variety of Tillamook cheese is truly top-tier. We are talking the freshest milks used to make the finest cheeses. So add that to any burger and it’s bound to be amazing.
2 – And speaking of cheese, this burger has two cheeses on it: the Tillamook white cheddar and bleu cheese crumbles. If you’re a cheese lover like we are, then this is really exciting. Having two cheeses on your burger really does elevate it to the next level. It also makes this burger feel like a guilty pleasure.
3 – Finally, the third thing we love about this burger is the bun. The fact that it comes on a potato bun really takes this burger to the next level. And honestly, we think it helps when it comes to enhancing the richness and funk of the bleu cheese crumbles.

Overall, this burger is a winner all the way and we love that it’s back on the summer menu at Friendly’s. And yes, we are always going to be excited when we see two of our favorite things coming together…in this case Tillamook cheese and a Friendly’s burger!
