The holiday season is quickly approaching, and with that come all the different celebrations. While we’ve discussed some fall releases, this post is going to look ahead at some of the new and upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas releases.

While it does seem like the year is speeding by, many of us are still solidifying plans for the two upcoming holidays. Whether you’re someone who is cooking, going to a Friendsgiving, or celebrating with family, there’s a little something for everyone.

Regardless of how you’re spending the holidays this year, The Tasty Screen is here to make sure you know about some of the new and upcoming holiday food items being released.

No holiday release list would be complete without Cracker Barrel. The beloved chain has a little bit of everything this holiday season. If you’re shopping for gifts, you can head to the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store to find unique gifts you can’t get anywhere else. For my fellow foodies, there is even more to enjoy.

Cracker Barrel rolled out its holiday menu, including Country Fried Turkey, which is pictured above and comes with your choice of sides. For those with a sweet tooth, there is the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast, and for my savory fans, you can enjoy a Breakfast Burger, which is topped with an egg, bacon, cheese, and hashbrown casserole.

Lastly, Cracker Barrel is offering two different Thanksgiving dinner options to heat and serve at home. First is the Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Family Dinner, which feeds 4 to 6 people and includes “One oven-roasted turkey breast, sweet potato casserole, and green beans served with cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls…” For those with a larger crowd, you can get the Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Family Feast, which feeds 8-10 people and includes, “Two oven-roasted turkey breasts, sweet potato casserole, green beans, mashed potatoes with cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls, with pumpkin and pecan pies for dessert…” Both of these can be picked up from November 22nd to November 30th.

If you’re a fan of both Halloween and Christmas, Twix has you covered. The brand is celebrating Hallowmas, aka Halloween and Christmas. You can get these limited-edition treats via Twix’s website. You can either grab the Twix Ghoulish Green fun-size bars or the Twix Snowman. These originally dropped on October 22nd and are already sold out. However, you can head to this website and try to get your hands on them on October 29th.

These final two items are both related to Christmas if you’re ready to deck the halls. First is a celebration of one of Little Debbie’s most iconic treats, which is the Christmas Tree Cakes. These delights are turning 40 years old, and the brand added Santa along with a badge showcasing the treat’s 40th anniversary. The brand also dropped its Christmas Tree Cake merch collection, which features clothes, accessories, and home decor to showcase your love for these sweet treats. Little Debbie has given us such an iconic treat that we have no reason but to celebrate.

Hardee's

Last but not least, Hardee’s released its holiday menu, and boy, are we all in for a treat. Pictured above is Hardee’s new Grilled Cheese lineup, which is releasing for a limited time. You can either get a breakfast version with bacon or sausage, or a lunch version with a burger patty. Regardless, this is the nostalgic sandwich lineup we’ve been waiting for.

For another breakfast option, you can get the Cinnamon N’ Raisin Biscuit with the option of getting 1, 2, or 4 packs. These are available during breakfast and will be available until February 17th. Last but not least is the Holly Jolly Sparkler, which is a new addition to this year’s holiday menu. This is a limited-time release and is described as a “refreshing blend of real cranberry and lime, and made with Sprite™…” As you can see, Hardee’s is just as ready for the holiday season as the rest of us.
