Veteran Day’s is observed on November 11th, 2025 and Raising Cane’s is teaming up with someone special to give back. It’s none other than Paul Skenes.
For my non-sports fans, Skenes is a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates and a superstar, on and off the diamond. That’s why it’s so awesome to see him teaming up with Raising Cane’s for such a great cause.
To celebrate Veteran’s Day, Cane’s is giving back with its customers in mind as the company is matching donations. These will go to the Gary Sinise Foundation which is “a nonprofit that honors and supports American veterans, first responders, their families and those in need,” which was shared in Raising Cane’s press release.
Beginning now until November 14th, Caniacs can head to this link to donate which is currently at 45k of its 250k goal. If you’re eating at Cane’s, you can also scan the QR code to donate if you see the signage at your local restaurant.
The other cool thing is that Skenes filmed some promos for Cane’s, one of which we’re going to include below. In addition, Cane’s also shared its Hero Discount Program in the press release, “Raising Cane’s will also celebrate the heroes in its own Communities through its Hero Discount Program. Active and retired military members, firefighters, police, EMTs and their families receive 10% off their entire purchase when they mention the program at the register. The discount is available year-round at all Restaurants, because for Cane’s, saying “thank you” never goes out of season.”
As someone who is a huge fan of Cane’s for both its food and its incredible charitable spirit, this collaboration with Paul Skenes for Veteran’s Day is incredible. With that being said, you can see the full ad below.
