The wait for Bridgerton has been long, to say the very. The second part of season 3 hit Netflix on June, 13, 2024. It’s been a long year and while we won’t have to wait the full two years, it’s still feels like WAY too long for a show with no special effects. But when exactly will we see the Bridgerton family back on our screens?
Because Netflix hates to listen to constructive feedback, they are, once again, splitting the upcoming season into two parts. The first part of season 4 will be available to stream on Thursday, Jan 29, 2026. The second part of this season won’t be available until Thursday, Feb 26, 2026.
If you’ve been living under a rock or have forgotten over the past almost two years, this fourth season of the historical drama/romance will be about Benedict Bridgerton. We have seen him explore his sexuality over the past few seasons and hopefully, we will see more of that in season 4.
That said, if nothing else, we will see him discover the love of his life in a lady in a mask at a masquerade ball. The “lady in silver” as she is known from the books. The lady in question is Sophie Baek and will be played by Yerin Ha.
Bridgerton season 4 finally has release date(s)

But beyond this very important addition to cast and her family, we will also see the usual characters as well. Most, if not all, of the Bridgerton family will be back, including the newest Bridgerton, Penelope. How much we see the past couples will remain to be seen, but if the past is any indication, they will likely only have a few scenes. And that’s the way it should be. Let the newest couple have the spotlight.

As I haven’t read the books, I am excited to see how Benedict and Sophie’s story plays out and what changes that readers spot from the original book. On top of those changes, it will also be very interesting to see if Netflix is able to bring in the same number of audience members after such a long wait. Only time will tell.
