OLIPOP is ready for 2026 with a brand new flavor that is set to be around until the end of March. When it comes to being a prebiotic soda leader, the brand understands what their customers want and how to deliver. This means continually adding flavors that fans will love. So it should come as no surprise that as of January 5, fans of OLIPOP will be able to get their hands on their new Shirley Temple prebiotic soda.
A classic Shirley Temple is often made with either a lemon lime soda or a ginger ale and then a splash of grenadine is added. This nonalcoholic beverage is usually finished off with a maraschino cherry that just feels like it ties everything together.
With the OLIPOP version of the Shirley Temple, we are looking at a soda that has notes of cherry, lemon, and lime. But that’s not all, as this one also features a white grape in the flavor profile. It’s an interesting combination that just makes sense coming from OLIPOP.

We had the opportunity to try this new flavor for ourselves courtesy of OLIPOP. And I have to admit that I am a big fan of a classic Shirley Temple so I can be a harsh critic. Overall, this is a solid effort for the prebiotic soda brand. You can definitely taste the cherry notes, as well as the lemon and lime. I will say that it takes a while to get used to the white grape flavor (at least for me). In fact, I basically drank an entire can before it felt like the grape made sense. I do wish the cherry flavor was bit stronger, but I definitely think this could become a new favorite for OLIPOP fans.
I also think this is one of those sodas that should be drunk completely chilled. The next time I crack one of these cans open, I may have to throw in a maraschino cherry of my own to really bring home that Shirley Temple vibe.
What do you think? Is this a flavor you are excited for? Will you be snagging cans of this flavor of OLIPOP?
