Wicked: For Good hits theaters on November 21. And leading up to the release, there are plenty of ways we can get back into the Wicked mood. One of those is obviously going back and watching the first movie, but the other option is actually playing a game of Monopoly.
If you didn’t know, Hasbro released a Wicked Monopoly game. The game features artwork from the movie, tokens inspired by iconic symbols, and of course in place of the houses and hotels we know from the original game, Munchkin Homes and Emerald Castles are the name of the game. It’s truly a work of art when you see all of the details that went into this particular game of Monopoly.
According to the game’s description on Amazon: “The board features properties from the land of Oz—from Shiz University to Emerald City! The more a player owns, the more Ozian coins they can collect. The last player with coins when all other have gone bankrupt wins.”
Basically, you play the Wicked Monopoly game the exact same way you would the original. So if you love Monopoly, then you will love this version of the game inspired by the movie Wicked.
This board game would be perfect as a gift to a fan of Wicked, or for your own personal collection. It’s definitely one of those games that you just have to have in your collection if you are a fan of Monopoly. If you’re anything like us, you might actually collect Monopoly games based on your fandoms. Either way, this game is stunning and we cannot wait to get our hands on one of these.
And if you are planning to snag this game, the original MSRP is $29.99. However, at the time of writing, you can actually get this game board on sale on Amazon. So now might be the time to snag this game if you are looking to give it as a gift. That being said, it’s also a good time to buy this Monopoly game if you want it for yourself, and you don’t want to pay full price.
