Now that October has arrived it’s time for more than just spooky season, it’s also National Caramel Month. And what better way to celebrate the season of sweet treats than with a giveaway from Werther’s Original?

Inspired by the idea of taking a moment for yourself, Werther’s Original is doing a special giveaway starting on October 6 that is all about finding the time to stop and enjoy a piece of caramel as a pick-me-up in your day. According to the press email we received on behalf of the brand, their “Sweet Treat Mug Sweepstakes” is a chance to remind people to slow down and breathe. In fact, “the mug is part of Werther’s push to reclaim the 3 p.m. slump as a cozy, intentional snack moment.”

From October 6 through the 10th, fans of Werther’s Original can head to the Werther’s O’Clock website between 3 and 4 p.m. EST for their chance to win one of 100 special sweet treat mugs. Each mug is inspired by the brand’s seasonal flavors for Fall, and features a “sidecar” keychain that hold one caramel. Of course, you’ll also get a bag of Werther’s Original Caramels that go with the mug in question.

Honestly, this is the kind of giveaway we love to see. It combines some of our favorite things, including the magic that is caramel from Werther’s Original.

Of course, even if you don’t win one of the Sweet Treat Mugs, you can still celebrate National Caramel Month with Werther’s Original. Just head to the store and snag a bag of their limited edition flavors for the Fall, which include their Maple Crème caramels and the Caramel Apple caramels. You won’t regret adding these to your candy stash!
