We all know that fall officially starts in September. But for many of us who love all things pumpkin spice, the season really begins in August. At Denny’s, fall officially kicks off on August 27 with the return of their fan-favorite Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes.

According to the press release that we received, these fan-favorite Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes will once again be available as a stack or as part of one of Denny’s iconic Slam meals! If it’s been a while since you enjoyed these pancakes, or you have forgotten what they tasted like from year, the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes are made with actual pumpkin pie filling, as well as Denny’s glazed pecans and a pecan pie sauce. It’s a sweet treat that Denny’s fans can enjoy to kick off the start of fall with.

Of course, when we head to Denny’s, we are going for more than just a stack of pancakes. Typically, we are looking for a meal. In that case, you’ll want the Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Slam. The Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Slam features, “two buttermilk pancakes cooked with real pumpkin pie filling, serve with two fresh eggs made to order, crispy-golden hash browns, and two crispy applewood-smoked bacon strips or sausage links.”

Honestly, you can never go wrong with a trip to Denny’s. It feels like there’s always something for everyone on the menu. And if you are a fan of pumpkin spice season, then this is a great way to enjoy a little bit of that at breakfast time. Now this isn’t exactly a pumpkin spice pancake, but the pumpkin and pecans together are definitely indulgent.
