Sour Patch Kids have had many iterations over the years. There have been apple ones, peach flavored, and even grape. More recently, there have even been Sour Patch that have beeen half one flavor and half the other. You can even get black Sour Patch around Christmas (AKA coal Sour Patch).
But the candy has gotten an even more creative and innovative incarnation recently. It’s the Sour Patch Kids Glow-Ups. This new iteration combines two flavors together (strawberry and watermelon) and includes edible confetti. But the confetti is not just edible. It also…glows in the dark!
There is a catch though. The candy won’t just glow in the dark by shining it under a light and then putting it in the dark. You have to have a black light. Luckily, you can pick one up for cheap on Amazon (don’t ask me how I know this). And with Halloween just around the corner, it could be a fun activity for you and the kids (or just us adults).
Sour Patch Kids Glow-Ups are your new favorite candy
That said, whether you get the candy glowing or not, they are still Sour Patch Kids. Which means they are delicious. You will get joy from them whether you see them glow or not.
I found mine at a local gas station (I check for new flavors every time I go), but I’m sure you can find them where you normally find other Sour Patch Kid flavors as well.
