If there’s one brand I’ll always put my money behind, it’s Raising Cane’s which is good because Cane’s always puts their money into the community. It’s such a core part of their mission which we like here at The Tasty Screen.

Given the devastating flooding in Texas, Cane’s quickly took action and made a donation. The $100,000 donation is being given to the American Red Cross to help with everything they might need. Cane’s has such a huge presence in Texas so this wasn’t a surprise.

If anything, it proves just how serious Todd Graves is about giving back and making sure communities thrive. In a press release shared by Cane’s, Graves shared a statement full of heart, “Our hearts break as we witness the devastating impact of the flooding in Kerrville and the surrounding Communities. We’re deeply saddened by the lives impacted and the loved ones lost, and our hearts and prayers go out to everyone impacted.” It is truly such a devastating moment for Texans and we’re all thinking of them during this tough time.

This donation proves one thing we all know and it’s that Raising Cane’s will always go above and beyond for its communities. It’s never easy to see your community suffer but Cane’s decided to take action. If that doesn’t make you want to support Cane’s, then I don’ t know what else will.

While the flooding is still ongoing in Texas, we can only hope that Texas residents try to stay safe and know we’re thinking of them.
