Sometimes, walking down the cookie aisle is a bad idea and sometimes it is the best idea we may have had all day. This is especially true if you come across a flavor of Oreo that you have not yet tried before.

Recently on a trip to the store, we came across the Oreo Loaded cookie. Basically, this is Oreo inception. What we mean by this is that this is a classic cookie, but the cream on the inside is loaded with even more bits of Oreo cookie. It’s basically a cookies and cream filling between two of the chocolate wafers that make Oreo cookies the chocolatey delight that we all know and love.

It’s also a loaded version, which means it’s a thicker cream filling than a classic Oreo cookie. However, we really feel like theses cookies needed even more cream in the center (they are described as a Mega Stuf style of cookie, but we wanted more with this one). It’s not that there wasn’t enough of the creamy filling, but at the same time, we are the kind of foodies who love a Double Stuf Oreo, so we like more cream versus the chocolate wafer.

Overall, this is not a bad cookie. However, it wasn’t necessarily one that we would go out of our way to buy again. Instead, we will stick with our Double Stuf Oreos.

What’s interesting about this Oreo cookie flavor, is that we hadn’t seen it before. And on the packaging that we found, it did say new right above the picture of the cookie. However, when we did some research online, it did seem like a cookie that’s been out before, or at the very least it’s very similar to a previous cookies and cream version of the Oreo. Whether or not this cookie has been released before, it definitely has the potential to be a favorite for people who enjoy cookies and cream and of course Oreos.
