Are you a fan of starting your day with oats? Have you had the chance to try brekki ready-to-eat oats? Recently, we had the chance to try a few of their flavors for ourselves, and we have some thoughts about them.

One thing to know about brekki is that these are plant-based, gluten-free overnight oats. They are refrigerated oats that you can get in a variety of flavors, including dark chocolate, strawberry, cold brew coffee, and more.

Made with some amazing ingredients that will keep you feeling full and energized, brekki ready-to-eat oats is made with almonds, buckwheat, flax seeds, and even Chia seeds. Think of these oats as the perfect accompaniment to any diet or even an unexpected way to start the day.

What we enjoyed about brekki is the fact that they are so easy to enjoy. It is literally taking it out of the refrigerator, peeling back the foil top, stirring, and eating.

Now, when it comes to the flavors, variety is the spice of life. So it should come as no surprise that we were excited by how many flavors brekki has to offer. That means that there really is something for everyone.

Trying some of the brekki ready-to-eat oats flavors

We had the opportunity to try the vanilla cinnamon, the dark chocolate, the cold brew coffee, and the bananas & maple brown sugar read-to-eat overnight oats. We have to say that we were actually quite surprised by the flavor of all four of these oats.

I definitely think the bananas and maple brown sugar is a winner because it really felt like breakfast. It felt like the oat version of a banana bread.

On the other hand, I wasn’t as big of a fan of the vanilla cinnamon flavor. But, I think that’s because I felt that the cinnamon was a bit overwhelming. I think if you really like a cinnamon forward oat, this could be a great option for you. And I’m still not sure how I feel about the dark chocolate oats. It didn’t work for me, but I can see how it would work for other people who like the more bitter hints of dark chocolate.

Beyond the bananas and maple brown sugar, the other flavor that I actually enjoyed, and was surprised by, was the cold brew coffee. I feel like that flavor popped in a way that I did not expect. It was definitely a nice pick me up in the morning, and was full of flavor.

I can admit that I am not as big a fan of refrigerated/cold oats. Overall, I tend to prefer warm oatmeal over cold oats. However, I love the flavors that brekki has to offer. In fact, I would happily try their lemon oats, the blueberry, and even the pumpkin spice oats. I think those flavors would be so nice in a cold oat form.

Generally speaking, I think this is a great product, especially if you are someone looking for a quick and easy option in the mornings. It may not be for everyone, but if you enjoy your oats chilled, then this is a great choice for you. And with a variety of flavors to choose from, you won’t be bored with breakfast!
