Have you heard of the pasta brand Bionaturae before? Honestly, until recently I had not. But then I was offered a chance to try the brand and learn more about what they have to offer.
Considering I grew up in a family where my grandmother would make fresh pasta sauce from scratch, it can be hard for me to find a jarred sauce that even comes close to living up to grandma. And while Bionaturae isn’t trying to take grandma’s role as the queen of the kitchen, if you are looking for an amazing pasta sauce that is delicious and versatile, you definitely want to check them out.
I had the chance to try all three of their classic pasta sauces: Organic Tomato Basil, Organic Marinara, and Organic Arrabbiata. And I have to say that of the three, I truly fell in love with their marinara. It was so flavorful and it offered the perfect thickness for multiple dishes.
While I did give the Bionaturae sauces a try on pasta, I also used them on other dishes. It was amazing how perfect it was in a chicken parmigiana and even for making a saucy rib dish. Not only that, but I also used it as base of a creamier sauce as well. (Basically creating a version of an ala vodka sauce using the marinara as the tomato-y base.)
I really felt like these sauces were extremely versatile because of how flavorful they were. I think you can use them on a variety of dishes where you want a tomato forward flavor.
These sauces would be great for dipping mozzarella sticks or breadsticks. And we can’t wait to stock up our cabinet with their marinara just to see how many ways we can use it in our kitchen.
Honestly, after trying all three of these pasta sauces, I am eager to try a number of their other products, including their olive oils and their fruit spreads. But I am also anticipating them expanding their lineup to give us more pasta sauces. Maybe it is me, but after trying these three sauces, I am definitely going to be paying closer attention to the brand and what they have to offer.
