February may only have a couple of weeks left, but there are still several shows on the way that you need to keep on your radar. One of our top picks is Running Point, set to premiere on Feb. 27, exclusively on Netflix.

Running Point stars Kate Hudson, an iconic rom-com actress, so I’m already sold! But if you need more reasons to watch, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series.

Kate Hudson stars as Isla Gordon, an overlooked professional in a male-dominated world of sports. Following the resignation of her brother, Isla is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, a professional basketball franchise. The board, Isla’s family, and not to mention the entire fan base of the team, want nothing more than for Isla to have no involvement — can she prove them all wrong?

Not a fan of sport dramas? Don’t let that turn you away from watching this Netflix series. Running Point perfectly blends comedy with sports, and you bet there will be a splash of romance. Isla Gordon’s task as the appointed president is easier said than done since she is not taking on a successful franchise. The team has been struggling for some time, so it’s up to Isla to not only prove everyone wrong, but excel.

Running Point was created Mindy Kaling, so you already know the series will offer plenty of comedy and quirky moments. In addition to Kate Hudson, Running Point also stars Brenda Song (The Social Network) and Max Greenfield (New Girl).

Watch all 10 episodes of the series on Feb. 27, only on Netflix.
